Senior Fullstack Engineer (Freelance)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack Engineer to support the development of modern, scalable, and high-performance software solutions.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working across both frontend and backend technologies, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and thrives in collaborative, agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern fullstack applications
• Build scalable frontend and backend solutions with a strong focus on quality and maintainability
• Develop and integrate APIs and backend services
• Collaborate closely with product, design, platform, and QA teams
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and user experience
• Contribute to software architecture and technical decision-making
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices
• Support CI/CD processes, deployments, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills

• Several years of experience in Fullstack Software Engineering
• Strong experience with modern frontend and backend development
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Experience with one or more modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js or comparable)
• Experience with one or more modern backend technologies (e.g. Java, Go, .NET, Node.js, Python or comparable)
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and modern integration patterns
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of software architecture and scalable application design
• Experience with automated testing and software quality practices
• Familiarity with cloud-native applications and modern deployment environments
• Experience working in agile software development teams

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservice architectures
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and distributed systems
• Experience with performance optimization and application monitoring
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and modern software delivery processes
