Senior Drupal / React Developer – 100% Remote

Project Setup

• Start: Q4 2026
• Initial phase: approx. 10 days full-time for knowledge transfer and takeover
• Afterwards: approx. 3–5 days per month
• Long-term engagement possible
• 100% remote
• Nearshore resources possible / welcome
• Language: English; German is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Takeover and familiarisation with the existing codebase
• Maintenance and further development of a headless Drupal / React application
• Bug fixing, security and version updates
• Development of new features and interfaces
• Support with technical incidents
• Use of Agentic Coding / AI-assisted development for development, testing and refactoring

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Drupal 9/10+, PHP 8 and custom modules
• Headless Drupal / JSON:API
• React & TypeScript
• MySQL/MariaDB, Git, CI/CD and automated testing
• Experience maintaining production applications
• Hands-on experience with Agentic Coding, e.g. Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot or Cursor
• At least 3 reference projects with Drupal, ideally including headless/decoupled Drupal environments
