Freelance React Native Engineer

Location: Remote (Europe, CET +/-1)

Contract: 6 Months

Start: Within 2 Weeks

We're looking for a React Native Engineer to join a greenfield project building the foundation of a new mobile application and embeddable widget platform.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain React Native applications and reusable widget components
• Deliver features end-to-end from technical design through deployment
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to create scalable, user-friendly mobile experiences
• Contribute to component libraries and design systems
• Optimise application performance across iOS and Android

Requirements:

• 4-5+ years of React Native experience
• Strong React Native, Hooks, State Management (Redux/Zustand/Context)
• Experience building for both iOS and Android
• React Navigation, Reanimated, Gesture Handler
• Design Systems and reusable component development
• Expo/Bare Workflow, CI/CD, Fastlane, EAS Build
• Experience with AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, etc.)
• Claude usage for Spec Driven Development
• Strong end-to-end ownership mindset

Nice to Have:

• AI-powered mobile features (chat, search, personalisation)
