UX Designer (100%, f::m::d)

Join OnlineDoctor: We're Expanding!

We are a fast-growing telemedicine startup focused on improving access to dermatological care. Our platform uses cutting-edge technology to connect patients with dermatologists, enabling them to take pictures of their skin issues and receive medical assessments and treatment plans remotely and asynchronously. We are looking for a UX Designer to join our team as soon as possible.

In this role, you will translate product ideas, user needs, and stakeholder requirements into intuitive, high-quality design solutions for both patient-facing and clinician-facing tools.

You will work closely with the Product Owner, engineers, and other designers to create safe, accessible, and visually strong experiences that support usability, clarity, and efficiency in a healthtech context. A key part of your role will be bringing structure to the design process, ensuring consistency across the product, incorporating feedback, and creating interfaces users can trust whether they are patients navigating their care or doctors making informed decisions.

What you'll do:

  • Translate product requirements and user needs into clear, intuitive design solutions for patient and doctor tools
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, engineers, and other designers to shape and refine solutions
  • Ensure consistency and quality across the product by following the design system and evolving design standards such as assessibility guidelines
  • Identify patient and doctor needs, pain points, and opportunities through research and product discovery
  • Contribute to improving workflows and experiences in a healthcare context, balancing usability with regulatory and domain-specific constraints

What you bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in UX, product design, or a similar role in digital product environments
  • Experience designing intuitive digital products for different user groups, ideally including patient-facing or clinician-facing applications
  • Strong knowledge of Figma, modern UX methods, and user research practices, including user testing and interviews
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with Product and Engineering, with the ability to incorporate feedback into design iterations
  • Structured and detail-oriented working style, with a solid understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles
  • Interest in taking responsibility for UX processes and contributing to design decisions with real product impact
  • Interest in AI-powered design and research tools
  • At least C1-level proficiency in spoken German

What we offer:

  • Flexibility: You decide if you want to work remote or if you prefer to visit one of our Offices (Hamburg, St. Gallen, Zürich). We offer you a flexible schedule and a working time model that suits you.
  • Learning culture: We offer a steep learning curve in your day-to-day work and support your development through regular retrospectives and inspiration sessions. In addition, you will have access to a training budget that you can use flexibly. We are open to your ideas and happy to support you in implementing them.
  • Team events: Skiing in Switzerland, white water rafting in Vienna - we regularly get together with our entire team and thus increase our teamwork.
  • Fair salary: An attractive salary is a matter of course for us.
  • Additional benefits: Free choice of laptop, home office allowance, additional vacation day, etc.

Our Values:

Respect and tolerance are part of our DNA. We actively support diversity and inclusion, believing they are the keys to a successful and healthy company culture.
