Technical CRM Integration Specialist (m/w/d)

Hi everyone,

for one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced CRM Tech Manager / Migration Specialist to support an ongoing CRM transformation on short notice.

Project Details

• Start: as soon as possible / latest by early July
• Duration: Initial 3 months with option to extend
• Capacity: Minimum 75%
• Location: 100% remote
• Language: German preferred, English possible

Project Context

The client is currently migrating from an existing CRM / marketing automation system to Braze. The migration is already underway, but Braze still needs to be fully technically integrated and enabled for the first productive CRM use cases.

The short-term goal is to establish a solid technical baseline: enabling email delivery, launching initial lifecycle journeys, ensuring data connectivity, and setting up the clean transfer of relevant events and segments. After that, the focus will shift toward web and app integration, as well as the further optimization of flows and automations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the migration to Braze
• Support the full technical integration of Braze
• Review and simplify existing automation and segmentation logic
• Build and optimize CRM flows, segments, and lifecycle journeys
• Support API-based data integrations as well as occasional CSV uploads
• Coordinate with CRM, web, and data teams
• Support integrations with website, app, backend, and checkout processes
• Provide technical guidance to the internal team while also supporting hands-on implementation

Requirements

• Experience in CRM Tech, Marketing Automation, or Customer Engagement Platforms
• Ideally hands-on experience with Braze
• Experience supporting CRM migrations from a technical perspective
• Understanding of APIs, customer events, data flows, and segmentation logic
• BigQuery knowledge is a plus
• Experience working at the interface of CRM, Data, Web/App, and Tech
• Hands-on, pragmatic, and consultative working style
• German preferred, English possible

We are not looking for a pure campaign manager, but for a technically strong CRM Tech freelancer who can support migrations, identify technical dependencies, and help make Braze productive together with the internal team.
