System Administrator (all genders)
Your creative field
We are looking for a full-time, permanent System Administrator (all genders) based in Munich, Cologne or Nuremberg to start as soon as possible. While we do offer remote work from time to time, being close to one of our offices is important for this role.
Your day will typically move between operational support, infrastructure ownership and continuous improvements across our internal IT environment.
One part of the role is maintaining and improving our cloud-based workplace infrastructure. This includes Microsoft 365 administration, identity and access management in Entra ID / Azure AD, SSO integrations, user lifecycle management and endpoint administration across Windows and macOS devices.
You will handle internal IT issues, troubleshoot authentication or access-related problems, support onboarding processes and ensure employees have reliable and secure access to the tools they need to work effectively.
At the same time, the role also includes ownership responsibilities. You will maintain endpoint security standards, improve device policies, review operational weaknesses, and help introduce better tooling or workflows where needed. We are looking for someone who can identify recurring problems and improve systems pragmatically instead of only reacting to tickets.
The role also includes administration of internal services running on Linux-based infrastructure, VPN administration and collaboration with other technical teams where systems overlap.
In addition, you will support and maintain our Atlassian environment (Jira and Confluence), including workspace configuration, automations, permissions and general usability improvements for internal teams.
This role requires someone who is comfortable working across different operational areas, can prioritize independently and is able to balance security requirements with practical usability in a fast-moving environment.
What convinces us
Your personality, paired with:
- Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and cloud-based workplace environments
- Practical experience with Entra ID / Azure AD, SSO, identity federation, and access management
- Understanding of endpoint management and security hardening concepts (e.g. Intune, device policies, compliance baselines)
- Confidence working with VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and general networking fundamentals
- Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments, including onboarding and device provisioning
- Ability to troubleshoot operational issues independently without requiring constant guidance
- Comfortable working in environments with changing priorities and context switching
- Pragmatic mindset: balancing security requirements with usability for internal employees ad a structured working style with clear documentation habits
- Basic Linux administration experience for internal services and applications
- Experience with Jira and Confluence administration is beneficial, especially around automations and workspace configuration and scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash or Python) is helpful, but not mandatory
We know that you may not currently meet all the requirements. But if you come to us with the right amount of commitment and enthusiasm, we can take off together and make a big difference.
