Senior Product Designer (Europe, remote)
Your role at Kittl
You will own design across one of Kittl's core product surfaces (editor, AI, or growth), shaping the experiences that turn first-time consumer and prosumer users into repeat creators. Reporting to the Head of Product Design, you'll set the craft bar for your area and operate as a peer to PM and Engineering, bringing user evidence and a strong point of view to every roadmap conversation. Your work will directly influence activation, retention, and the quality of the AI-assisted creation experience millions of creators depend on. You'll move from research to shipped product without handoffs, and your decisions will compound across the platform.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end design: Take full ownership of a core product area from problem framing and research through shipping, measurement, and iteration
- Drive initiatives forward: Take a clear position on product direction and actively unblock the team when momentum stalls
- Raise the craft bar: Hold a high quality standard in your work and elevate it through critique and pairing with peers, raising the bar across flows, components, and AI-driven interactions
- Translate constraints into decisions: Convert user behaviour, business needs, and technical constraints into clear design decisions you can articulate to any audience
- Lead complex features: Design sophisticated product features and user journeys with high visual and interaction craft
- Build reusable patterns: Contribute to Kittl's AI patterns and design system through the features you ship
What you'll need
- Experience: Minimum 6 years designing digital products, with at least 2 years shipping consumer or prosumer products at scale
- Portfolio: Strong portfolio showing end-to-end ownership including research, interaction design, visual craft, and shipped outcomes you can point to
- AI design experience: Hands-on experience designing for AI-driven or generative product surfaces, or a strong track record that translates to it
- Productive disagreement skills: Track record of disagreeing well and committing fully - holding positions with evidence and moving forward decisively once a call is made
- Bias for action: High quality bar combined with speed, delivering work that needs few iterations and beating deadlines rather than just meeting them
