Lead Product Designer (m/w/d)
About the role
Aer is building a new kind of wellness company — focused on helping people move better through intelligent diagnostics, smart devices, and streamlined studio experiences. We’re growing quickly and entering our next phase: fundraising, expansion, and stronger digital presence.
We’re looking for a Lead Product Designer to join the founding team and help shape Aer’s visual identity across product, web, and content. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with the core team to design interfaces, create visuals and social content, and develop 3D renderings that bring our physical products to life. This is an equity-first role with a path to salary as we complete our upcoming funding round.
Tasks
- Design clear, functional user interfaces for our app, booking system, and digital diagnostics
- Create compelling social and investor-facing visual content with a tech-forward aesthetic
- Develop 3D renderings and simple animations for internal and external use
- Build and maintain a design system for digital and brand materials
- Work with tools like Figma, Blender, Midjourney, or others you’re comfortable with
- Collaborate closely with the executive team on product development and design priorities
- Contribute to a design culture that values clarity, health impact, and clean execution
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX or visual/product design
- Strong portfolio covering both digital product and visual/brand design
- Experience with Figma and at least one 3D or animation tool (e.g. Blender, Spline, Runway)
- Familiarity with fast-paced, collaborative startup environments
- Comfortable moving between branding, interface, and 3D tasks depending on the need
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Remote-friendly, but hybrid collaboration is preferred — we like to meet in person when we can
Application
Due to high application volume, a portfolio is required to be considered for this role. Please include a link to your work (personal site, Behance, or PDF) with your application.
