IT Coordinator / Technical Project Coordinator

We are not looking for a pure developer, nor a pure project manager. Instead, they need a "Translation Bridge" between the technical developers and the outside world (stakeholders, politicians, hotline users).

Here is a breakdown of the exact type of candidate they are seeking:

1. The "Communications Air-Traffic Controller" (Primary Role)Who they are: A highly organized gatekeeper and triage expert. Why: The development team is overwhelmed by random inquiries. They need someone to act as the single point of entry. What they must do: Ingest every request, categorize it, prioritize it, and either pass it to devs (with clear specs) or deflect it. They must track everything and give the project manager accurate status updates on capacity.

2. The "Technical Translator"Who they are: Someone who is not a deep coder, but is technically literate enough to translate business requirements into technical language. Why: Because changes affect multiple teams (web masks, interfaces, databases), the InGe team needs someone to prepare requirements and translate them into English for the other external development teams.

3. The "Cross-Team Test Coordinator"Who they are: A tester who thinks about the "big picture."Why: They don't just test one button in a web mask; they ensure that when a change is made, it works end-to-end across all sub-projects. They must define and provide test data and support other teams during their testing phases.

Responsibilities

  • Control and manage communication between different stakeholders and the development team. Ingestion, categorization, prioritization, and follow-up of topics, tasks, and requests.
  • Support of the project management with questions about available capacities or the status of developments, inquiries or special topics.
  • support for cross-team development; Preparation and communication of requirements, for test data and tests and, if necessary, also for documentation
  • Depending on your qualifications, also support for development tests InGe: Creation and maintenance of junit tests
  • Support in the processing of 3rd-level hotline tickets and similar requests. Testing of traceability or generation of test cases, comparison with the specification and similar tasks

Skills required

  • Very good communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to familiarize oneself deeply with the complex technicality of the integration process, if necessary
  • Languages: very good knowledge of German and sufficient written and spoken English
  • Willingness to test applications and components in development

desirable / advantageous

  • Knowledge of Oracle database SQL and ggf. PL/SQL for preparing test data and understanding test results
  • Basic knowledge of Java to help create and maintain Junit tests
  • Experience in project organization / project management / tools such as Jira
  • Knowledge of Oracle SOA and ADF/SOA would be a bonus
