Interim Senior Backend Engineer (m/w/d) / AI Driven

Context: Our client is looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join a cross-functional agile team and support the development of modern cloud-based software solutions. The role focuses on designing, building, and operating scalable backend services while collaborating closely with product owners, domain experts, and engineers to deliver high-quality, reliable applications in a production environment.

Profil

Tasks:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services for monitoring and controlling systems
• Contribute across the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements engineering, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, operations, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with product owners and experts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of software services running in production environments.
• Monitor and improve system health using observability and monitoring tools.
• Analyze user feedback and operational metrics to continuously optimize the product.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Support DevOps and cloud-related activities within AWS environments.
• Explore and apply modern software engineering practices, including AI-assisted development where beneficial.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience as a Backend Developer or Software Engineer.
• Proven experience working in agile software development teams.
• Strong track record of building and operating production-grade backend services.
• Strong proficiency in Kafka, und Typscript
• Experience developing applications with TypeScript (using in backend)
• Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and API design.
• Practical experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of observability and monitoring tools, such as:
