Aufgaben

• Line management of 2–4 engineers
• Technical vision and architecture of the SSAI platform
• Ownership of core ad pipeline components, from ad decisioning to impression tracking
• Contribution to code and architecture of critical system components
• Coordination with adjacent teams covering content delivery, streaming/CDN, and playback
• Point of contact for Commercial/Ad-Operations stakeholders
• Technical input on decisions related to video ad integration

Professional background

• Several years of experience leading engineering teams
• Current hands-on experience as senior engineer/technical lead on production-critical backend systems
• Strong proficiency in C++ and/or Go
• Hands-on experience with video ad integration: SSAI/DAI, ad stitching, VAST/VMAP, SCTE-35, ad server integration (e.g. Google Ad Manager DAI, FreeWheel) — required
• Experience building highly available, scalable services and APIs
• Familiarity with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, message queues (e.g. Kafka), non-relational databases (e.g. Scylla)
• Broad understanding of the video pipeline: ingest, transcoding, packaging, DRM, streaming, playback
• Test-driven development approach
