As we scale, we’re building a world‑class product guiding customers through the complex journey of enterprise IT and we are looking for a Founding Product Designer & Researcher to take the next level.
Design & Product
Own the entire product design process — discovery, wireframes, prototypes, interaction design, and final UI.
Build and maintain Stackgini’s design system.
Design AI-native interfaces: Guided workflows, generated content surfaces, AI output verification and structured data views that make complexity navigable. This is a core design challenge at Stackgini, not an afterthought.
Work closely with engineering to spec, hand off, and QA implementations.
Define and improve information architecture and navigation patterns as the product grows.
Translate product strategy and roadmap priorities into design solutions, proactively proposing directions rather than waiting for specs.
User Research
Plan and run qualitative research: user interviews, contextual inquiry, and usability testing — with real users on a regular cadence.
Synthesize findings into actionable insights and communicate them clearly to the team.
Identify unmet needs and surface opportunities for new features or improvements.
Requirements
Must-Have Experience
4+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showing B2B SaaS, enterprise tools, or workflow automation products.
Proven ability to work across the full design lifecycle — from user research and concept through to polished, production-ready UI.
Expert-level Figma skills, including component libraries, auto-layout, and design system management.
AI-first mindset: you default to AI tools to accelerate your work — research synthesis, copy drafts, prototyping, ideation — not as a shortcut, but as a force multiplier.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools such as Lovable, Claude (Anthropic), Cursor, or Claude Code to move from concept to working prototype rapidly.
Demonstrated experience designing AI Human interaction patterns — you know how users prompt, review, correct, and build trust with AI-generated outputs. You understand where AI should lead, where humans must stay in control, and how to design the handoff between both.
Experience in early-stage or 0 1 product environments where you’ve had to make decisions with limited information.
Strong interaction design instincts: you think in flows, not just screens.
Highly Valued
Background designing compliance, risk, or governance tools (or other high-stakes, information-dense B2B products).
Familiarity with enterprise IT landscapes or the IT4IT ecosystem.
Experience in fast-growing startups or dynamic environments.
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and inclusive design practices.
