What You’ll Do

As a FMCG Consumer (VISID and packaging) Designer at Landor Hamburg, you will work on medium to large sized projects, using their knowledge of their client’s and category business and challenges to develop a strong creative vision that results in client satisfaction.

Your tasks will include:

  • You consistently deliver strong brand thinking for FMCG brands, design craft and accomplishments within the field of practice - you are as adept with your visualising as you are with your thinking !
  • Your strength is packing design, but you are able to deliver holistic solutions that create versatile assets for digital and communications.
  • You partner with clients and internal teams to elevate creative solutions that support the client brief and project goals
  • Confidently works across multiple projects, working in conjunction with the design, client and production teams to ensure client needs are met to the highest standard
  • Understands integrated solutions and target audiences, demonstrating work that can be applied across various channels (Digital, print, experience etc) to deliver high quality, innovative ideas that support brand ideas.
  • Collaborates with peers, design counterparts and partner groups to ensure project design continuity across all areas of focus, working together to overcome strategic and design challenges
  • Works well independently, as well as part of a team, actively contributing in design critiques
  • Leverages design processes and best practices to ensure design deliverables and timelines are met
  • Interacts with colleagues and clients in a positive, professional, and motivating manner.
  • You make the most of AI to maximize efficiencies, including speed

What You’ll Need

  • Experience in a similar role within a brand and design agency is desirable with a portfolio of projects from consumer packaging and FMCG visual identity systems
  • Demonstrates strong creative excellence, conceptual thinking, consistently developing innovative design ideas
  • Can confidently integrate a brand’s message, colour, imagery, type, composition and other assets and behaviours into deliverables
  • Knowledge of current and upcoming creative and design trends
  • Awareness of trends in other industries, evolving cultural landscapes, as well as economic, political and environmental trends, that shape how people interact with brands and design.
  • Passion for design, brand and creative excellence
  • Strong technical skills with a range of creative software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Miro, AI tools, and similar - as well as the ability to represent design thinking using traditional design tools and hand sketching
  • Skills in motion graphics and digital design, eager to develop and execute dynamic visual content across multiple digital platforms
