AI Development Expert

We are looking for an AI Engineer to support the design and implementation of our Knowledge Companion.

The project revolves around the development of a centralized "knowledge companion" that enables users to capture, access, and interact with project and solution knowledge. Its objective is to improve knowledge reuse, reduce dependency on individuals during on-boarding and off-boarding, and ensure knowledge continuity across development and operations by providing a single source of truth for project-related information.

We are currently looking for an expert with strong skills on the following:

• Strong Full Stack development expertise (frontend and backend)
• Extensive knowledge on common AI solutions and technologies
• Experience to design scalable, commercially viable solution architectures
• Communication and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams

Main task/activity

• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Draft the overall solution design and system architecture
• Develop the first prototype
• Develop the first Minimum Viable Product (MVP) based on the agreed requirements
• Coordinate and communicate with key stakeholders, including Solution Managers, customers, and development teams

Other tasks and activities

• Define the end-to-end solution architecture, including frontend, backend, RAG pipeline, and system integrations
• Select the appropriate technology stack (LLM, vector database, APIs, hosting platform, etc.)
• Identify and integrate relevant knowledge sources, such as Jira, SharePoint, code repositories, and ServiceNow
• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines
• Implement document parsing, chunking, embedding, and metadata enrichment
• Build a conversational interface (e.g., Microsoft Teams or a web application)
• Develop retrieval orchestration, including semantic search, ranking, and grounding
• Enable drill-down capabilities to original documents and related artifacts
• Support the ongoing evolution and enhancement of the Knowledge Companion solution
