AI & Data Solution Architect (m/f/d)

For our client, we are currently looking for an AI & Data Solution Architect (m/f/d).

As an AI & Data Solution Architect, you play a central role in winning and shaping our customers' digital transformation. You combine deep architectural expertise in AI and data with strong bid and proposal engagement and strategic foresight. Your mission is to design market-differentiating Generative AI and data-driven solution architectures in RFI/RFP engagements that give our clients a clear competitive advantage. In this role you will:

Own the end-to-end solution design in RFI/RFP responses: analyze customer requirements, define the target architecture, shape win themes, and translate them into compelling, deliverable proposals.
Lead technical customer discussions during bid phases and translate complex AI and data architectures into tangible business value for C-level stakeholders.
Design robust target architectures for Generative AI, machine learning, and modern data platforms such as data mesh and lakehouses, including their integration into existing customer landscapes.
Provide architectural advisory to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions and the establishment of solid data foundations on cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Validate feasibility, effort estimation, and cost assumptions of proposed solutions together with delivery and pricing teams.
Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers on their AI adoption journey and ensuring a smooth handover of the solution design to delivery teams.

**Must-have skills:**
Proven experience in solution architecture and solution design, ideally in pre-sales / RFI/RFP contexts
Proven expertise in Generative AI
Strong knowledge of machine learning
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Solid understanding of data architecture
Experience creating proposals, effort estimations, and architecture documentation for bids
Practical understanding of MLOps
Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark
Strong consulting and presentation skills at C-level
Experience with agile methods such as Scrum

**Nice-to-have skills:**
Proficiency in Python and rapid prototyping
Experience with data mesh and/or data spaces architectures
Knowledge of LLM and agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain or AutoGen
Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Architecture frameworks and certifications (e.g., TOGAF, cloud architect certifications)
