Vue/TypeScript & Nuxt Developer for Web Development Research Study

Project Goal

Researchers from the University of Bamberg are looking for software developers to participate in a programming study focused on how developers plan and review code for web applications in collaborative coding settings.

Main Tasks:

• Write an implementation plan for four new features of a classifieds portal built with Nuxt
• Review six pull requests and decide whether to approve them or request changes
• No code has to be written or executed
• Share all resources used during the session (e.g., URLs of visited tutorial sites, copies of LLM conversations)
• Participate in a follow-up interview (30–45 min) about your experience with the tasks

Prerequisites:

• Experience as a software developer
• Knowledge of Vue, TypeScript, and/or Nuxt

Project Duration:

• One task session of up to 2 hours
• One follow-up interview of approximately 45 minutes, to take place within 48 hours of the task session
• Both appointments are booked by the participant themselves

Expected Result:

• Completed implementation plan for four features
• Completed review of six pull requests
• Participation in the follow-up interview

Working Model: Remote

Compensation: 180 € expense allowance (~60 € per hour based on maximum estimated time)
