Graphic Designer (m/f/d)

(part-time; 19.25 hrs./week; limited; 2 years)

Your responsibilities:

  • Support Constructor University design activities across marketing, communications, digital, print, events, presentations, social media, and other brand touchpoints.
  • Create high-quality visual materials such as banners, social media graphics, presentation slides, brochures, posters, event materials, infographics, templates, and other promotional assets.
  • Maintain and update design assets, templates, and brand materials to ensure consistency across platforms and departments.
  • Help audit existing university design materials and identify inconsistencies in brand usage, layout, typography, colors, imagery, and templates.
  • Work within the Constructor brand guidelines and help apply them consistently across university-related materials.
  • Collaborate with university stakeholders, marketing, communications, and other teams to understand design needs and prepare clear design outputs.
  • Coordinate tasks, priorities, and quality review with Constructor Design to ensure alignment with the overall Constructor brand system.
  • Ensure final prioritization and quality review for brand-related design work are coordinated with Constructor Design to avoid brand fragmentation and maintain consistency.
  • Prepare design files, specifications, and assets for implementation when needed, including support for websites and digital platforms.
  • Manage several design tasks in parallel while keeping deadlines, priorities, and quality standards under control.
  • Track design work and working hours in a transparent way.

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, Web Design, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • Strong portfolio showing experience in brand, marketing, digital, and print design.
  • Professional knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Strong working knowledge of Figma. Experience with shared libraries, templates, and collaborative workflows is a plus.
  • Good understanding of brand systems, typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience creating materials for websites, social media, presentations, campaigns, and events.
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines and apply them consistently across different formats and channels.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver clean, production-ready design files.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a structured way.
  • Fluent English is required. German is a plus.
