Frontend Developer (React | TypeScript | Spain, Portugal) – 100% Remote

Project Overview

We are looking for a Frontend Developer with solid experience in React and TypeScript to join an exciting software development project.

You will contribute to the development and optimisation of modern web applications, working with a collaborative team to build scalable, user-friendly interfaces. The project includes implementing design systems, improving accessibility, and maintaining a clean, high-quality frontend architecture.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript
• Implement reusable UI components and design-system standards
• Ensure accessibility and responsive user experiences
• Integrate REST APIs into frontend applications
• Refactor and optimise large frontend codebases
• Collaborate with developers, designers and product stakeholders in an agile environment
• Contribute to code quality through testing, reviews and best practices

Required Skills

• Strong experience with React
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript
• Experience with Tailwind CSS
• Redux
• REST APIs
• TanStack React Query
• Error handling and debugging
• Mid-level professional experience

Project Details

• Location: Nearshore (EU) – We are specifically looking for freelancers based in Portugal or Spain
• Remote: 100%
• Start: 17 August 2026
• End: 31 December 2026
• Project Language: German and English
• Rate: Up to €360/day
